The rain made a huge difference
Every time BYU started clicking there was some weather related event. More rain, snapping the ball in a puddle (lake) etc. Watch that game up till the rain delay. BYU was really starting to roll and UVA was having a tough time stopping them - which is the point of GFGH. The rain delay killed the biggest benefit you get from our offense. meanwhile, every point UVA scored was because of a mistake by BYU that was caused by the weather, except for their ridiculous 55 yard field goal. Their offense did nothing that whole game. People that use the UVA game in an attempt to foreshadow the UConn game are being ridiculous.
