As a groomer, I've found this is the best way to get rid of skunk smell.
Mint mouth wash. Put it all over the dog (watching not to get in eyes of course) BEFORE you get them wet. Before is key as it latches onto the stink molecules better. Then you wash them with dog shampoo. If you get them wet first the stink will cling onto their fur.
