Twas the night before kickoff, and all through the land
Not a Cougar fan slept with season tickets in hand.
The Cougars were nestled, all snug in their beds,
With great visions of JSwag making plays their heads

Gaining first downs and touchdowns 'gainst every foe
Leaving Horns, Huskies, and Red Cougars to weep and to woe
When out on the field their came a great flash
Not lightning this time, T’was Taysom a-dash!

Then away like a shot, going fast and so hard
Went the offense all day, commanding each yard
A band of brothers they were, all standing tall
'neath a TSH banner from Coach Mendenhall

"Now Taysom! Now Yeck! Now, Paul and Jamaal!
Go, Fua! Blitz, Daniels! Rush, Bronson - BLITZ ALL!!!
"To the east, to the west, in rain or in snow
From the north to the south, we happily will go!"

They sprang to their feet, to his team gave the whistle
And off they shot like the burst of a missile.
And I heard them exclaim, bold strong and true:
"We shall win the great fight, we are B-Y-U!"
