People who think BYU props up HC violations and are extra sctrict with student athletes are just looking for someone to blame. I'm not saying individual cases haven't been mishandled in the past.

Athletes are high profile. Everyone recognizes them in the community. Unfortunately, if they do something wrong, someone will know about it. Then the media pounces. Then fans speculate and want details. The media continues to speculate and criticize.

BYU and coaches actually try to PROTECT the student athletes from all the scrutiny and embarrassment. The moaning, groaning, speculating, and assuming the punishments are handled incorrectly is the exact reason BYU doesn't want to report on this stuff anymore.

BYU is just a school that is danged if they do enforce punishments, and danged if they don't.

Obviously everyone wants JJ and the others to be playing. But, they're not...so get over it.
