Twas the night before game day in BYU’s House,
Not a creature was sleeping, not even a mouse.
The Y flag was hung on the railing with care,
In hopes that St. Cosmo soon would be there.
The Weebcats had already fumbled, they fell,
To a team for whose mascot was leader of hello……
And Utah had feasted on Idaho State
And now it was over and really quite late.
When out in the kitchen there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the couch to see what was the matter.
Left out on the counter an Upchucky fried wing
Then I noticed the cat I named Cosmo would sing.
He rose to the table and up on the stool,
I could see that his mouth was beginning to drool,
He rose to the counter and then with a flash,
Came down with the wing midst his whiskers the stash.
He stood with his chop crunching fried bird and bone,
And when he was done round the TV he roamed.
He stepped on the remote control with his paw,
and a little more drool dripped out of his jaw.
Then he let out a cry as he strolled out of site,
Beat the snot out of U-CONN and bring more wings tonight.
