Yes, systemic might be a bit of an overreach, but the level to which it went was staggering. Basically, those with stewardship picking the protection of Sandusky, JoPa, the program, etc. over the well-being of victims of one of the most disgusting crimes out there. And then let it contine. On top of that, the current students (and a decent number of them) and alum who came out in support of JoPa because he was such a great guy really made me a bit sick. We all make mistakes, but I would sure hope that covering for a pedophile would never be one of mine.
