. . . with very good defenses. So actually, trying to respond with Texas and Houston made no sense. But when I said that Houston gave us a ton of trouble, I was pointing out that an athletic team doesn't even have to have a good defense to give us trouble. Before you overreact to that statement, please note that I am not saying that every athletic team gives us trouble. I am saying the following:

All or nearly all athletic teams with very good defenses give us trouble

AND

Some athletic teams without very good defenses, including some with mediocre defenses, give us trouble

Is that clearer?
