I know ND will use their 5 game scheduling agreement with the ACC as their reasoning for not being able to schedule us. But that can be worked around. They play 12 games a year and even if it's 3 or 4 years down the road they should be able to commit to a return game.

I actually view it as dishonest, unethical, and a downright lack of character on their part and Tom needs to question that publicly. ND is a faith based school that cares a lot about their reputation. Public pressure and saving face could be something that compels them to honor the contact. I can see backing out of a 1:1 but when we've gone to their place twice it's blatantly dirty business practice to not return the agreed upon game.

I feel like Tom hasn't publicly raised this issue and ND has nobody to hold them accountable...unless Tom takes it to the media.
