I was thinking tonight how he would fare if he was given the opportunity to coach at Alabama, Florida State, LSU, USC, Texas, Oklahoma, etc. I am dubious how successful he would be as I think he is far from comfortable with anything outside of his coaching responsibilities. At a bigger school I think he would struggle. Boosters, fans and other outside pressures he dislikes are as hardwired into big-time programs as the church is at BYU.

Right now, he is in the right place and is the right coach for BYU.
