I don't need TV for anything else. The episodes I care about are on Hulu and most of the rest of my TV watching is re-runs anyway. I should save myself the 800 bucks a year (or whatever it is costing me these days) and do something else.
But I don't, because of sports. I guess that's why ESPN et. al. can charge TV companies so much and why they can pay so much for sports programming.
Without CFB programming, I would probably cut the cord entirely. I'm sure I'm not entirely alone.
You could see an entire industry cut in half (maybe) if sports did not exist.
