It never ceases to amaze me that Aggie fans are convinced that the football team has arrived and deserves a place in the national conversation. Truth is, they don't have a truly quality win in over 30 years. USU fans need to appreciate what they have when they are fortunate to snag a few quality recruits and string a few good years together. USU is what it is, a small mid-major that has about every recruiting disadvantage imaginable and They will never be able to keep a quality coach long term as USU will always be a stepping stone school for coaches. Face reality and enjoy success when things come together for a season or two.

In some respects BYU fans need to recognize that we will never be able to compete year in and year out with the top 20 power schools in the nation, our recruiting pool (or lack thereof) will never allow it. At times we can pick up a special player (Taysom) and have other things fall into place to string a few really fun years together, but BYU will always be what BYU is and this fan is proud of what BYU is. I've been involved in football for 25+ years on many levels and am disappointed in what little league, HS, and even college ball is becoming. Babylon has taken over the purity if the sport and I don't see that changing any time soon.

The next two years will be special, let's enjoy!!!!
