I'm going to revise my opinion on Koroma
After watching the game Friday the first time, I went on record saying that at times the pass protection from the center position was awful. I had the time to watch the game again today, and I tried to focus on the center position each offensive snap. My initial impression was that Koroma had several snaps where he got flat out beat. On further review, its not so much that he was getting beat. He's just using a bad habit that worked in HS, but won't work at the college level where everyone is bigger and stronger.

In HS, Koroma was the master if the pancake. A big chunk of his pancakes came not when he drove through the DL and put him on his back. Rather he was strong enough that he could just shove the DL, and the defender would end up on the ground. He kept trying that on Friday, and those were the plays I noticed his man getting to Hill on Friday.

Here are the plays:

1st Q, 12:12. DL over Koroma gets pressure on TH, forcing him to dump off to the hot receiver. Koroma initially locked him up and tried the shove move.

1st q, 4:35, 3rd and 30. Koroma stands his guy up initially, and then trues the shove move. The DL comes right through and pressures Hill. Hill has to check off to Lasike due to the pressure instead if going down field

2nd q, 13:50: 2nd and 20. Hits his guy but doesn't lock him up and tries the shove move again. Defender ends up hitting TH as he releases the ball for an incompletion

2nd Q, 2:10, hits his guy, but doesn't lock him up and again tries to shove him. Defender gets past Koroma and hits TH as he throws the ball.
