and Taysom's stats being significantly better than Chuckie's. At this point, Chuckie has had enough success in limited action to make him somewhat a mythically amazing QB. He's good, don't get me wrong, but the legend is greater than the reality.
By comparison, Taysom's passing stats were sub par last year for the whole season. He showed potential, and the UConn game was outstanding, but it was one game. I think the only thing any of us, even the homers like me, can really say for sure is Taysom is a better runner than Chuckie. Whether he is a better complete quarterback remains to be seen. I think he is, but I think it's pretty fair to say that the jury is still out on that.
