We keep hearing reports about how they've circled this game and have put up motivational posters and whatnot. Texas isn't mad at us because we beat them soundly, ran all over them, and essentially got their coaching staff fired. They're mad at us because we did all those things and they feel that we are fundamentally in a different class than they are. BYU should NEVER do something like that to a Texas team as far as they're concerned.

This highlights the importance of going into their house and kicking their yewts again. I don't mind being hated because we kicked somebody's yewt, but I do mind being hated because we kicked somebody's yewt and they feel that we don't even belong in the same discussion (or conference) as them. BYU may never have the recruiting and prowess that Texas has long-term, but we sure as hades shouldn't be viewed as a complete joke by them. Another yewt-whooping Saturday will go a long way in convincing the Big 12 that when the time comes to take a whiff and expand, BYU is the poo.

So get ready Texas, it may not be as bad a beat-down as last year, but it ain't gonna be easy to beat this team. And I'd hold off on all the nose-in-the-air feelings towards BYU, last I checked you're 1-3 against us so far. Two of those were beatdowns and your only win was a squeaker at home.
