That's one way to interpret it. Another, equally plausible
interpretation, is that he's saying Texas has a chance to win if the QB is a good game manager and doesn't make mistakes (like in UT's win against OU last year). In other words, the QB shouldn't try to be the hero, because there's a greater risk of him screwing up than outright winning the game.
