A couple years ago, played in BYU's coed 7 on 7 intramural
We had a couple girls that played for BYU H, but the rest and all of us guys hadn't played since youth league. So we picked the lower division of competition.

Our first game we played a bunch of $&@!. I mean I'm sure they were nice people, but there was no way they should have signed up for the lower division. It wasn't fair for teams like mine that were novice and looking to have competitive fun.

They scored 9 or 10 in the first half, even though they were short a girl, playing 6 on 7. I switched with the goalie at half because he was demoralized, and proceeded to be equal demoralized the second half.

I know I said they were probably nice people earlier, but after re-experiencing the game while typing this, I remember how gracious they WEREN'T in victory. They kept asking the ref to let us play with all of our subs on the field (to make it 10 against 6).

That really ticked me off, and I yelled at their captain to shut up about it, that we were gonna play by the rules. They kept badgering the ref, so at half time he asked us if we wanted to do that, saying that we'd have to forfeit the game, and play the second half without the refs.

I told him no again, and their guy heard and kept running his mouth about it. I yelled at him to shut up, that if they wanted a better challenge, they should have signed up in the right division. "It was your fault" I told himz "Not ours. And because of your idiotic decision, we have to suffer, and waste 1 of our 4 games against idiots like you"...

Like I said earlier, I then proceeded to play goalie the second half, and they let me have it... Probably 15 goals...

Idiots.
