OK, OK. Ute fans aren't classless, but their behavior toward BYU generally is.
The Savior wouldn't/doesn't hate Ute fans, but He would/does hate their classless behavior towards BYU.
In other words: Max was right. He later apologized to the university and to the team, but he obviously never apologized to Ute fans because of their behavior towards BYU and its fans.
Yes, Max has screwed up big-time, but the truth of his statement endures.
