Just added drama. Only so many ways they figure you can make a house hunting show more interesting, and one of the ways is that on all of these shows, there's ALWAYS some issue that comes up. "Oh no, looks like we found mold." "Well, we got under the house and your pipes are all shot." etc.

Then the prices for everything are always ridiculous. 20 min for a 15 yr old to knock down 2 panels of dry wall and cut a few studs... contractor says "yeah that's going to be about a grand."

I actually like the show, just to watch the remodeling. But it got old REALLY fast how they whine and whine and whine the ENTIRE show about how scared they are and might not break even at all, then in the end "we ended with a profit of $104,000."
