I keep thinking back to the first game of the season last year. We had that game, and set aside all the weirdness of a mid-game delay, new (old) OC, new offense, blah blah blah.... we lost that game on a late play where a water-logged ball was thrown too high to a 5' 11" running back, who may or may not have been wearing gloves, and the ball slipped through his hands like a wet noodle for an interception.

I think we should have won that game. I feel entitled to it and feel like last year was a fluke. But am I Texas-ing myself? Are we not really the superior team that my heart-of-hearts is telling me that we are?

Is this year just going to be a close representation of last year and we lose late by a field goal margin and then I resent Mark May for not giving us the props I thought we so-deserved last week, even more? (You too Brian Griese). Is UVa really a legit 2-1 team or are they the 2-1 team of last year that finished 2-10? Who can know such things...
