Reported on radio today he punched the kid and stuffed leaves in the boys mouth.
Supposedly the son told cops that Petersen punched him in the back of the head and stuff a bunch of leaves into his mouth. The boy is 4 years old. If true, that's abuse, mild but still abuse.
