Crystal springs, south of the town, was cool. There are dino bones and tracks out that way too. The white sand river beach in the middle-ish of the town was a surprise. And of course Goblin Valley... its cool but don't plan a whole day for that. Maybe 2-4 hours max.

OH!!! the biggest surprise was Little Wild Horse Slot Canyon!!! WOW was that cool. We only found it because the ranger station lady at goblin valley told us to go there instead of Goblin Valley. "Go spend the day there first, its much better, then come back here in the evening for a couple hours." Great advice.

Also, if you stay the night.... big if.... take the road out to the airport after dark and you will see more stars than you have seen in a long while.

And its worth going out of the way to see the swell. If you go through Price though, I highly recommend the Balance Rock cafe in helper. I make sure to stop there on any long southward trip. Great breakfast, awesome scones, pretty good lunch and dinner.
