Then I guess he can be the defensive whipping boy.
It's important to always have one on the field. Not sure who we use on special teams...Mikkelson's kickoffs have been working to perfection. Deep and into the corner where the coverage can pin them down. Samson had the one miss but he's been money since. And our punting has been pretty good...although I guess we could harp on the fake punt that failed all season. That provides some good ammo.

So, we'll beat Juergens on offense. Povey on defense, and Arellano on special teams. Perfect.

As for the coaching staff, Bronco is always best but I had very high hopes that Howell could step up and take his beatings...but dog gone it, even with all those key losses from last year, Van Noy, Manu, Unga, Sorenson, Hadley...the defense is playing pretty darn well. Anae is always a great target and I'm sure he'll run a "dive" or two to get people fired up...even though BYU has now gained over 150 yards on the ground for something like 13 games in a row...

Maybe Omer if you want to consider him part of the staff? It's been demonstrated that because he's not ripped he can't possibly succeed in strength and conditioning. I'm just trying to figure out how BYU has pretty much outstrengthed and out conditioned all three teams this year, two on the road, and one in the 95 degree, sweltering, Texas heat. Probably just dumb luck.

Honestly, I've got nothing for you on the coaching staff...I guess just pick one and come up with some strawman and let him have it. That's always a successful technique.

Honestly, context and rationale really aren't that important when picking a whipping boy. Heck, Taysom Hill was a whipping boy during fall camp and the rest of the nation thinks he makes it to New York for the Heisman. So just pick whoever you want and savage them, "darn the torpedoes, full speed ahead." You'll fit in just fine on the board.
