If I was trying to be a rain cloud, I might point out that the BCS began in 1998. It wasn't until 2004 that a "non-AQ" team was invited. It took a team going undefeated AND a good deal of rhetorical/political pressure for it to happen. A severe pessimist might say that it will be the same with NY6 and CFP. They will exclude everybody until the pressure is too great. And keep in mind "they" have already made a concession by granting a spot to the top G5 team. Including BYU will be two concessions.
