Similar experiences. We used to live in the old Y View student housing. It was
basically a mormon trailer park. We would run across the street and sit on the hill above the north end zone and watch the game on a blanket. Later, after they renovated the stadium, my parents had season tickets and we went to every home game until I finished high school. I remember the tortillas. I remember the keys. I remember throwing the football around after a PAT or field goal and the orange coats trying to chase it down.

It was really a different experience back then. There was no awning for the team to run through. We stood outside their locker room door and I pounded Steve Young on the shoulder pads as he ran by one game. I remember beating Air Force in a comeback game where Bosco wore Glen Koslowskis jersey, and he was stinking it up and Kos told him to quit disgracing his jersey and they beat the #2 ranked team (IIRC). I remember the Miami game (best football game I've attended ever).

There were no ribbons or video screens. The product was not nearly as slick and refined as it is today, but i would maintain it was far better. (except for the video screens. Those things are a great addition.)
