You are right about the price point, but it depends on your goal. If you are
going to price for maximum profit, so be it.

But then it would follow that you shouldn't try to guilt your fans into buying those last tickets you intentionally price out or lament that the stadium is not filled. If a full stadium is more important, then ease off the price a little.

And it may be a disconnect between the coach and the powers that control pricing, etc. but to the consumer, it all looks to come from the same source.
