1. I love BYU football.
2. Even though my wife and I are far from wealthy, I make it a priority because life is too short to miss out on something that you love that only happens 6 times every year.
3. I have an amazing and very understanding wife who, despite the fact that we have two very small children (Both under 19 months), understands that this is something I truly enjoy. There are things that she enjoys doing, during which I have no problem watching the children.
4. Taysom Hill, Jamaal Williams, Craig Bills, Alani Fua, etc. are all tremendous players and it's a privilege to be able to watch them play live.
5. So when those moments happen, I can always say, "I was there when..."
6. I will continue to do this as my children get older so they can become rabid Cougar fans, as well.
7. The game day atmosphere, surrounded by thousands of fans, is far and away superior to watching a game on TV. This includes games in the rain, snow, heat, etc.
8. I can cheer and whistle really loud (as long as I don't stand) to, in a sense, become a small but important part of the game.
9. I can yell at refs with a slightly more realistic hope that they'll hear me than yelling at home.
10. Because I freaking love BYU football.
