That is a nice core schedule for our program that is good for recruiting and playing in front of alumni.
Then I would work out a deal with the Big 12 to play 5 games a year (2 home and 3 road) with every big 12 team over a 10 year period in both football and basketball for eligibility in Big 12 bowl games.
To finish the schedule I would schedule 1 nonUtah Pac-12 team, 1 "national" opponent (ND, Michigan, Ohio St., Alabama, etc.), and then 1 old WAC/MWC rival (UTEP, NM, Wyoming, etc.).
