So I'm pretty sure I have the record for the longest-term lurker ever. I've checked Cougarboard almost everyday since I was 21... I'm now 33. I guess I just never felt like sharing my opinion, but I appreciate all of yours. It' been a very entertaining 12 years.

Now I need some help and advice as I am getting desperate. We just moved from Provo to Portland. I'm in the final stages of manufacturing a product that I've been working on for a few years. I need to be around the Portland area or within about an hour or two. The plan is to be here for about 6 months or so while we get production up and running. We had a place in Seaside, but when we arrived the old people who own it decided they didn't want to rent it to us because we had kids. So the last few weeks we've been living in hotels and trying to find a place. We've called a bunch of rentals but the problem is they either want a 1 year lease or as soon as they find out we have kids they don't want to rent to us. Living in hotels sucks and we are burning through our savings. It's my wife and I and our three kids ages 6, 4, and 2. Our funds are tight with most of our money tied up in our business at the moment. I need a place ASAP and it seems that there are a quite a few Oregon Cougar fans on here. So if anyone knows of anything we would appreciate the help. We are looking for something to rent for six months or something for even a week or two as we keep looking. We are open to just about anything and even a one bedroom place would be a relief. Thanks in advance for any help!
