Something for the Big Ten to think about re: BYU
The State of Utah is the fifth-fastest growing state in the US:

The State of Utah has the highest rate of natural population growth in the US (i.e., discounting the effect of immigration. Low death, high birth):

The State of Utah has the youngest median age of any state in the US:

Outside of the Deep South and Ohio, the State of Utah produces more Division 1 football talent per capita than any other state (thank you, Polynesians):

Just saying: for a conference with an admitted demographic problem, made up of schools in states full of old people, that are forced to go elsewhere to find blue-chip football talent -- maybe they oughta take a hard look at BYU.

These stats aren't going to influence the Pac-12 (which has California) or the Big 12 (which has Texas). But the Big Ten is a conference that could use a fast-growing state full of young, talented football players.
