Background--Sometimes I talk, laugh, sing, etc. in my sleep. Additionally, like most guys, I do not *always* get out from under the covers to, shall we say, get gaseous relief in the middle of the night. It is kind of a running joke that my nocturnal noises probably contribute to my wife's insomnia.



Conversation with my wife this morning:

Me: Is there a reason we're saving this [enormous costco, empty] peanut can?

Wife: Sister _______ has asked us to save things that make strange noises for her preschool. . .it's like a drum.

Me: Strange noises, huh? You should give her me, in bed at night.

Wife: . . .


Looks like I'll be making noises on the couch tonight.
