I would prefer they enhance the existing experience before adding seats.
1. Wifi that allows not good but great use of smartphone, allowing fans to stream the game as they also watch live.
2. TV's in the concourses broadcasting the game so you never miss the action.
I'm sure there are more, but if teams want to fill the stadium they need to start combining the live atmosphere with the amenities you get sitting at home, access to replays, etc.
