It seems like we have gone from one extreme to another with running the occasional trick play. Crowton went nuts with them - remember the infamous "Globe of Death" KOR? - to Anae not using any that I can recall.
Wouldn't a flea flicker or HB/WR pass once in a while loosen-up defenses who are now stacking the box? Do you miss trick plays? BSU was the King of trick plays, and they usually worked out pretty well for them. And BYU has had success with them through the years.
