Man, I gotta tell you...
I've been critical of Bronco here and there, but I really enjoyed this interview. I gained a lot of respect of him from hearing his candid responses. When he talked about the post-game experience with Taysom taking the lead on the group prayer, I had some goose bumps going on. And this natural response to the interview is coming from someone who was a temple recommend holding, Peter Priesthood BYU fan 17 years ago, but I haven't been to church since. Yet, I still bleed blue through and through, and have no interest in living outside of Utah County because I pretty much only surround myself with good LDS people. In fact, when non/ex LDS people around here complain about "judgemental Mormons", I always jump to the defense that, "I promise, those people who truly are the condescending judgemental types are equally loathed by those in their ward, and they are a vocal minority that is shrinking every day".

Bronco admitted his mistakes with the recruitment of Hill. In politics, rabid party cheerleaders (Who George Washington admonished/begged future generations to never get swept up in, as stated so genuinely and eloquently in his Farewell Speech) will call Bronco's admittance to prior flawed judgment and reversal as being a "flip flopping" stance. Romney was nailed by this misguided attack on a constant basis. That attitude is one of the core problems our country faces, and it greatly impacts the decision of good people who consider entering politics to make a difference based on their convictions. Learning from past mistakes and admitting those mistakes should be commended. I'm okay with criticism of Bronco. I just think counter criticism should be equally in order.

These are my two cents on the topic, for what it's worth.
