on that particular play...the kid who speared Jim was a Utah corner/safety. On the very next play...Jim audibled to move Danny Plater into one-on-one coverage with the kid. At the snap, he looked them off initially, did a little half roll to buy time while Plater took the kid deep and then hit him for about a 40-50 yard touchdown as Danny dragged across the back of the SEZ.

I will never forget that play and how the stadium reacted - as soon as the ball left his hand everyone's head swivelled and could immediate see Danny had the guy beat by like 5 yards. The roar began before the ball even settled into his hands.

I'm too lazy to look it up, but I believe this game was one of those 56-7, 56-10 beatdowns. What memories !!!
