Of course they have, they're the minor leagues.
Joining the minor leagues says BYU doesn't belong in a P5 conference. BYU would be out of place in a minor league, just like they were in the MWC. No minor league team is like BYU. BSU is the closest example, but they were D1AA until '97 and have little national fan base. All of BYU Football's peers in every way are in P5 conferences.
