I almost hesitate to, but since he sent it to all SL CC members, here's the text
Dear [ebv]-

Your favorite Salt Lake Chapter President has made a few mistakes lately. I am the Ward Mission Leader in our Ward where we are currently teaching 7 families/individuals. My wife and I work in the Temple every Friday for a six hour shift. Then I have a business which I am attempting to grow, and finally, I am the President of the Salt Lake Chapter of the CC. NONE of this is intended to be an 'excuse.' Just a way of explanation.

Now for the errors:

The INCREDIBLE Magleby's is providing lunch at our event in the Founder's Room at the top of the Zion's Bank Bldg on Thursday, 9/25, next week. Some guy in a big hurry didn't take the time to look up the spelling in a previous email. I am truly sorry and being overworked is not an excuse for so doing. I have often eaten at Magleby's myself and love their food. I am personally looking forward to our luncheon with them as the provider next week.

We advertised the Big Blue Bash with some players who were not able to participate in the end. I should have taken some time to explain why at the event and I did not even think about it. a. Jamaal Williams was taken from the appearance by BYU, I'm sure in conjunction with his temporary suspension. b. Taysom Hill's birthday was on the same day of our event. His sweetheart had purchased tickets to a play for the both of them to attend in celebration of that birthday. When he approached Bronco to determine what to do, Bronco correctly told him to go with his wife. Bronco then replaced Taysom's appearance with two more players.

In the end, this was a GREAT event and was enjoyed by all. The speakers we did have were EXCELLENT and gave us all insight into the team and their mentality. But it could have been better had I taken the time to explain the descrepancies.

I do love BYU and this position as the President of your Salt Lake Chapter. I look forward to our luncheon on Thursday and hope to see YOU there!
