It was an amazing place to grow up in the 80s and 90s. I loved it there. The place has really changed though. When I was growing up most everyone had well paying jobs in the energy industry. Now it is a very hard place to make a living. I loved the freedom I had as a kid. I loved being on the edge of the mountains and the San Rafael Swell. Such diverse landscape and recreational opportunities so close to one another.

I will always have a special place in my heart for Emery County. I would never move back now though, even with all of my family still living there. Tough place to live these days.
