I think it is a ridiculous trend started by Nike to sell more gear and happily
adopted by every program in the country.
The only thing more ridiculous are adult men, who play college sports, acting like teenage girls at a One Direction concert when the coach unveils a new helmet or an alternate uniform.
Uniform talk/smack is about as awesome as talking about video boards or the semi used to haul the team gear.
