While some fans criticize BYU or Bronco over this kind of stuff, everyone else in the nation is screaming for FSU or NFL teams to crack down on these players. We criticize BYU for "smearing" atheltes' names and waving the honor code as a banner to the national media.

When the national media looks at the honor code, they praise it. When other schools try to pull off half game suspensions, you see the backlash. I think the public overwhelmingly wants to see that rules are enforced and good behavior is encouraged. That's what BYU encourages, enforces, and cultivates: a clean program. Go COUGS!
