They were 4th in BCS in 2009 and 3rd in 2010. In 2009, Texas made the title game after a last second FG in the Big 12 title game. There was some analysis at the time that showed that most likely, TCU would have been 2nd in the BCS standings if Texas had lost, because of something with the computers. But either way, they were top 4 both years.
