I was at the UCONN game and the officiating was atrocious, but it was bad going both ways. I don't recall any serious officiating issues during either of the games against Texas teams (maybe I have a short memory). The Virginia officiating was inconsistent in ways that really hurt BYU and kept drives alive for UVA. There were an awful lot of 3rd down conversions in that game for UVA (often after UVA was stuffed) that can be credited to the refs. I hear you on the discipline issues, but I don't think complaining about the convenient timing of some of the calls means we blame the refs for all our ills.
