It could happen, but this team, though very good, isn't quite good enough to make undefeated a sure bet. We're gonna have a couple of squeakers and maybe a couple of those will be close losses. It doesn't mean we're horrible, or the coaches are horrible, or the program is horrible, when it happens. It means we're not worldbeaters. You have to be great or very good and lucky, to go undefeated even against a softish schedule.
