It seems like it's been happening a lot lately with a lot of former players. Dennis Pitta, Luke Staley, Austin Collie, Harvey Unga; all of them have been bit with the injury bug once they reach the pros. Max Hall was injured as well during his brief NFL stint with the Cardinals. Ziggy Ansah and Kyle Van Noy have also been battling injuries since they entered the league.

Jim McMahon is another former BYU great who had an injury riddled career. After he won the Super Bowl with Chicago, injuries would plague him and he was never quite the same quarterback again.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence; it just sucks, that's all. It's sad to see so many great BYU players start dropping like flies once they start playing in the NFL.
