Interesting piece. You could not be faulted for thinking this was written by a cougar fan

A couple of quick fixes:

Scale down cheap tickets a couple dollars a day until game day. E.g., full $25 two weeks before game. $2 on game day. Each buyer rationalize balance between price and numbers of tickets bought, where bought, etc. Each day.

Another idea, bring in high bandwidth WIFI. Maybe even cell tower repeaters of some sort. This goes to comfort, duration and accessibility of fans.

Use the ribbons for entertainment content, less so for ads.

In short, stadiums are competing with living rooms.
