I also think that non being in a conference hurts our viewership
1) you don't have 9-13 others teams/fan bases inherently interested in how your performance will help/hurt your conference's reputation and/or shape the conference race.
2) we are not Notre Dame ... We
Don't have decades of dominance/relevance that causes LOADS of people to tune in to watch us fail.
