1. Playing Big12 Champ in Fiesta Bowl. These means a few things...(a) they got left out of CFP, likely to Oregon, FSU and two SEC teams; (b) allows us another "play-in" game with Big12 and chance to show we belong. I'd LOVE this matchup on so many levels. OU looks pretty stout and is very CFP-worthy but if Texas could surprise a team or two, or maybe Ok State, we might get them.

2. Playing USC or Stanford in Fiesta Bowl - Pac12 tie-ins...build up future drama for future games. Taysom vs Stanford would be cool. Sark vs BYU would be cool. Beating brand-name program would be cooler.

3. An SEC team in Cotton Bowl - the committee might try to "expose" BYU by acknowledging they deserve NY6 bid but pitting us against, what they think, is the best non-CFP team. right now that's looking like Auburn or TAMU.
