I think he was right about the effort being there but the technique and assignment soundness lacking. "We smiled at the end but mine was a fake smile because I'm not happy about the way we played." This defense will continue to improve and we are getting a LOT of players good experience. We'll lose some seniors next year...but we are going to bring back guys who have gotten reps at every position. That's not a bad thing at all...and with next year's schedule we'll need guys to come out strong at the beginning.
