Provo vs Rexburg: Shorts or No Shorts? Provo, a lap of liberalism?
Came across this today and it gave me a chuckle...

Provo vs Rexburg: Shorts or No Shorts?

Provo, a lap of liberalism? Is BYU Idaho holding out for mo morality?

President Kim Clark of BYU Idaho walked out on campus last week and he was appalled. See his Facebook post here

Clark saw ankles and legs. Lots of legs. President Clark, formerly the Dean of Harvard's Business School, was upset. Not necessarily at the ankles per say, but rather the symbol of rebelliousness that those ankles exhibit.

But, while raw ankles might be cause of concern at BYU Idaho--in Provo, ankle flashing is not a problem!

Turns out that there is a schism between the two campuses. A religious division. Think Shia and Sunni, Luther and the Pope. Rome and Constantinople! It got me thinking about what other difference there might be between the two schools. Here are some of them:

Where do you stand? Idaho morals or Provo?

The Differences:

Provo BYU-Men and women may wear shorts--knee length or longer.
Idaho BYU- Men and woman--shorts are 'not appropriate campus attire'.(Pants, slacks or jeans must be ankle length for both sexes).

Idaho BYU- For woman/no Capris. For men/no mention of Capris ban.
Provo BYU-Capris OK for both sexes

Idaho BYU-Flip-flops not allowed and wearing them are an honors violation
Provo BYU-Flip Flops Permitted, unless they have the rainbow flag?

Idaho BYU-No Beard Exemptions form
Provo BYU-Beard Exemption form

If a student were released from BYU Idaho for 'shorts' violations, could that student then transfer to BYU Provo?
