A few years ago I used an inexpensive converter cable and software for awhile but the problem was the audio would slowly go out of sync and delay several seconds.

Now its time to re-visit this project once and for all and get those videos into a newer digital format; and I don't want to have to pay someone or a company to convert all the old camcorder and VHS tapes.

This product looks decent but a couple of the reviews show that they had the same issue I had with a cheaper version of this video capture device a few years ago:

Anybody have a great solution that has worked seamlessly for them?
