The solution to counter box stacking and TH containment
Bubble screen to Mitchell Juergens.

Defenses have been getting smarter and smarter about how to play us. We struggled against Houston and really struggled against Virginia. Defenses are focusing on and getting better at containing our run game and TH. Anae had zero answers against Virginia and that is kind of typical for Anae. Taysom had to claw his way through a stout Virginia front 7 just to make things happen. They were in all the right places and, somehow, Taysom was able to get through a few times purely on his athleticism.

He needs help. The offensive line needs help. Anae needs to have answers.

Throw the bubble screen to Mitchell Juergens!!!!!!!!!

We've run a few WR screens and I only recall one of them working. Our receivers are too tall to run them and they only have downfield speed. You need quickness to run it and the only person that can do that effectively is Mitchell Juergens. Our receivers are big enough to be great blockers.

Washington State doesn't have a running game so all their "running plays" are bubble screens. If we incorporate bubble screens to Juergens, I'd wager he gets 5-8 yards a pop. Also, defenses will have to be more honest and it will open up all sorts of things for Taysom.
